The primary focus of IWC Cochin West this year is to create impactful awareness about cervical cancer—a disease that claims the life of one woman every 14 minutes in India, yet is largely preventable. On November 9th, the club conducted a comprehensive awareness program on cervical cancer and its prevention in association with Gautham Hospital, Cochin.

As a key part of the initiative, the first dose of HPV vaccination was administered to 20 adolescent girls, marking the beginning of a long-term commitment toward prevention and health education. This project reflects our dedication to safeguarding the health of the next generation through awareness and timely action.
