The Inner Wheel Club of Calicut, in collaboration with Green Worms, conducted an awareness session on cloth waste management at Providence Women’s College. Speakers Ms. Gopika Santhosh and Mr. Mohd. Aseel Ummer educated students on the environmental impact of the fashion industry and the importance of adopting the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The session also promoted “thrift and swap” practices among students. The club initiated a cloth collection drive, inaugurated by President Kalpana, and presented mementoes to the speakers, marking the beginning of future partnerships for sustainable initiatives.
