On August 7, 2024, the Inner Wheel Club of Palakkad organized a Breastfeeding Awareness Program at the Anganwadi in Ayapuram. Sister Lakshmi from the Primary Health Centre led the session, educating mothers on the importance of breastfeeding, its numerous benefits for both mother and child, and the essentials of personal hygiene. She also gave practical guidance on proper feeding techniques and post-feeding care.

To support the mothers, the club distributed nutritional kits containing dates, Horlicks, nut bars, and biscuits to nineteen beneficiaries. The session was both informative and warmly received by all participants.
